Nazar was born in the Ternopil region, Ukraine. He graduated from the Ternopil Music College (as a music theorist). In 2016 he has graduated composition faculty of Mykola Lysenko Lviv State Academy of Music (studied composition with V. Kaminsky and electroacoustic music and orchestration with O. Manulyak). Also he had lessons with such composers as: Edward Hart (USA), Yiorgos Vassilandonakis (USA), Carola Bauckholt (Germany), Martin Smolka (Czech Republic), Dmitri Kourliandski (Russia), Caspar Johannes Walter (Germany), Clemens Gadenstätter (Austria), Wojciech Widlak (Poland), Leonid Hrabovsky (Ukraine-USA), Jörg Birkenkötter (Germany), Elżbieta Sikora (Poland) and Klaus Lang (Austria).
Nazar is winner of the V Kiev International New Music Master-classes COURSE (Lviv, 2016). His pieces were performed at such festivals: “Musical meeting of Polish and Ukrainian Youth” (Lviv, 2012, 2014), “VOX ELECTRONICA” (Lviv, 2014, 2016), “Contrasts” (Lviv, 2014), “Two days and two nights of new music” (Odessa, 2015, 2016), “aXes – Triduum Muzyki Nowej” (Krakow, 2015).
Graduated in the Academy of Arts in Pristina in piano (1988) , composing (1991) and later gained a master degree in composition (2005).
His works are based on neoclassical characteristics, with a fresh sound combined with Albanian folk music and rhythms. Some of his works include: “Variations” for flute, clarinet and piano; “String Quartet”; ” Concertino ” for piano and Orchestra ; “744S” for saxophone quartet ; “Echos ,os,os…” for flute and piano ; “Albalcanica” for saxophone, string orchestra and percusions ; “Moment” for flute ,clarinet , violin , cello and piano ; ”Quasi Kaba” for viola and piano ;
“Udhëtimi sonor “ ( “ Sonor trip “ ) for male octet , violin and piano ;
“ Spirit of Tradition “ for string orch. ; “ Hamsa “ for brass quintet ; “ Formers “ for guitar quartet ; cantata “ Ballin lart “ etc.
He is also well known for composing ballet and theater music, arranger and producer. He wrote soundtracks for movies like: “ Kolona” , “ Rrota ( winner for best music on 9/11 festival ) and “Given word” .
He is an active pianist, composer, conductor as well as musical organizer. He was the Dean of the Music department in Faculty of Arts in Pristina , Artistic Director of Philharmony & Opera of Kosova and Minister of Culture of Republic of Kosova ( 2008-2010 ) . Currently he is working as a professor in the Faculty of Arts.
His works have been played in USA , Albania , Macedonia , Serbia , Croatia , Bosnia and Hercegovina , Belgium , Holland , France, Austria , Germany , Egypt, Japan etc . Some of his works have been published in Kosovo , Macedonia , Italy, Holland and Japan.
Daria Pavlotskaya was born in 1994 in Minsk, Belarus. At the age of 5 she started playing the piano and composed her first pieces when she was 12 years old. In 2013 she finished College of Arts in Minsk as a pianist. From 2013 till 2015 she studied composition at Belarusian State Academy of Music and since 2016 she has been studying composition with Sidney Corbett in University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany.
Her pieces were performed in Belarus, Russia, India, Germany and Croatia.
