In November 2014 musicians of MUSIC FOR PEACE Project are going to the Russian Far East. These areas suffered from the terrible floods in the Amur river basin in 2013, when many people lost their houses had to move to the temporary refuges.
Founders and leaders of the Project Maria Nemtsova (piano) and Vitaly Vatulya (saxophone) will travel along with the “Symbol” saxophone quartet.
The first and the biggest city of this Tour will be Khabarovsk, where the MUSIC FOR PEACE Artists will give a big concert on 21.Nov in the Regional Philharmonic Society with the State Chamber Orchestra of the Far East Federal District. Then they are going to visit cities Amursk (23.Nov), Komsomolsk-Upon-Amur (24-25.Nov) and Blagoveschensk (27-28.Nov). The program of each city will contain master-classes for student of the musical colleges and schools and concerts. Special attention will be paid to the families suffered from the floods of 2013. Many of them will get free invitations to the concerts.
