Lirika Pula Kasapolli

Bio Lirika Pula Kasapolli, pianist started her first piano lessons in hometown Gjakova and contin- ued later in Prishtina, Tirana and Skopje. During studying years she worked under the guidance of many profesors such as Sela- mi Ballata, Agron Shujaku, Merita Rexha Tërshana and obtained Masters Degree on Piano Interpretation in Skopje with Prof. Todor Svetiev. She attended a number of master-courses taught by different pi- anists as a listener and active participant. In August 2013 she participated as an active pianist in the course of perfectionism at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy, lead by the pi- anist Lilya Zilberstein. Her repertoire includes works from different eras of classical mu- sic and not only, she is very open to learn, experience and per- form contemporary music as well. As an active pianist of the music scene in Prishtina she has col- laborated with a number of albanian and international artists in- cluding Lule Ballata-flute, Blerta Zhegu-soprano, Sanije Matoshi- Mezzo, Rasmus Krøyer (Denmark) – clarinet, Bülent Evcil (Turkey) – flute, Besa Llugiqi- soprano (Kosovo) etc. She was invited to perform by the most prestigious festivals in Kosovo and the re- gion including DAMfest, ReMusica Festival, Prishtina Chopinfest , Kosovar Music Days Festival, Flute Sounds (Kosovo) and Chopinfest, Pianodrom (Albania), Macedo- nia and Slovenia and lately in Luxemburg and Beograd (Serbia) . She is also the founder/member of a chamber music ensemble Trio “Entr’acte” alongside Nina Shala – flute and Mario Guralumi – cello. In recent years she is regularly invited to collaborate by the Kosovo Choir and Philharmonic Orchestra as well as ESMA (Eu- ropian Summer Music Academy). Since 2006, she is a piano professor at the music school ‘Prenk Jakova’ in Prishtina and as piano accompanist, she has years of experience especially with the canto and strings cathedra at the Music Faculty in Prishtina.
