In November 2014 musicians of MUSIC FOR PEACE Project are going to the Russian Far East, which suffered from the terrible floods in the Amur riverbasin in 2013. Khabarovsk will be the first stop during this Tour.
On 21 November the Founders and Leaders of the Project, many international competitions Prizes Winners Maria Nemtsova (piano) and Vitaly Vatulya (saxophone) will give a big concert at the Khabarovsk Philharmonic Society Hall together with the Chamber Orchestra of the Far East Federal District conducted by Tigran Hakhnazaryan and the Moscow saxophone quartet “Symbol”.
The concert program will contain music by Ravel, Shostakovich, Piazzola, Morricone and other composers, mostly of the XX Century.
“It’s going to be our first appearance in the Far East, – said Maria Nemtsova, – we are looking forward to performing to the people of Khabarovsk and other cities and hope that the special program that we prepare for this concert will satisfy even the most versed part of the audience.”
