The Soloists of “MUSIC FOR PEACE” Project gave free master-classes in the regions of the Russian Far East, which suffered from the flood in 2013.

Maria Nemtsova and Vitaly Vatulya are currently in the Khabarovsk Region, which was the centre of the floods in the Amur River basin in 2013. They have already visited 3 cities there: Khabarovsk, Amursk and Komsomolsk-upon-Amur. In each city they had organized free master classes in the local musical schools and colleges.

The biggest event of their voyage was the concert in Khabarovsk Regional Philharmonic Society where Maria and Vitaly performed together with The “Serenade” Chamber Orchestra conducted by Tigran Hakhnazaryan and the “Symbol” saxophone quartet. Their performance was highly appreciated by the local audience and ended with their standing applause.

This concert has been the first night of the performance of the new arrangement of the famous Tchaikovsky “Nutcracker” suite for saxophone quartet and piano. Maria and Vitaly are currently on tour heading for their last point – Blagoveschensk (on 27-28.Nov)
