“Music for Peace” Project is going for the first tour of the IV season
Tomorrow “Music for Peace” Project is going for the first tour of the IV season. Traveling for ten days, performing and teaching in Beslan, Tskhinvali, Grozni (Chechnya), Vladikavkaz and Makhachkala (Dagestan) are waiting for us. Four chamber music concerts and two orchestral ones, students of all ages, new repertoire, hundreds of people in the audience and new experiences. We are very happy to premiere Daria Pavlotskaya trio in Beslan which was written for us just few days ago.

Dear Friends! Our next “Music for Peace” project season opens next week. We will be playing in the Beslan Music School, just 3min walk from the School No.1 where one of the most terrible terrorist attacks happened in 2004. Every single family of this town got affected and after 5 years of travelling there we know lots of people who still needs help, support, attention and care.

Jean-Denis Michat studied at Paris Superior Conservatory – CNSMD from 1990 to 1999 in several classes such as saxophone (Claude Delangle class), composition (Guy Reibel class) and new tchnologies (L. Cuniot, L. Naon, Y. Geslin classes), analysis (Michaël Lévinas class) and music History (Brigitte François-Sappey class).
Jean-Denis Michat plays as a soloist in Japan, Russia, TaÏwan, Canada, Spain…in several ensembles and philharmonic Orchestras.
He is today on of the most famous saxophonist player of the playing “à la française” and he works a lot for transcriptions to give a new large place for saxophone in the classic music.
